Four factors of motivation:

1.       Leadership style. Management style deeply impacts employee motivation. Think about bosses that empowered you. You were likely motivated to work harder for them than for managers that you did not align with. If you are a manager, are you getting feedback on your leadership style and if it is working for your team? How are you empowering your staff? Employees want to be better for a strong manager and support the team as a whole.

2.       The reward system. As a manager, ensure you have a clear evaluation system in place that motivates employees and to encourage employees to achieve goals. They need to know their job description, what is required of them each day, when they will be reviewed etc. Recognition and monetary benefits are examples of motivation factors that can improve job satisfaction, and help with achieving company goals.

3.       The organizational climate. Otherwise known as workplace culture. It is so important to cultivate a team that supports one another, trusts each other, and leaves employees feeling committed. How do the employees feel about the corporate culture? Offering employees, a positive work environment is one of the most important factors for employee motivation.

4.       The structure of work. Is the work rewarding? Does the work motivate employees? Why are we doing what we are doing? Do the working conditions and company policies enable you to be flexible? Autonomous? Do employees feel there is good work-life balance that enables them to have a personal life? Is there job security? These are several factors that contribute to employee motivation.

In the conclusion, Employee Motivation is must for an organization, it will enhance the productivity, profitability, higher employee retention, low competency & customer satisfaction. Most of the companies refuse & avoid to do employee satisfaction. It will impact the organization in good or bad way.

  1. Prioritizing employee motivation is really important for a company's success. When workers are happy and motivated, they do better work, which leads to higher profits and lower turnover. Plus, everyone's skills get better, and customers are happier. But if you don't care about keeping employees satisfied, it can really hurt the business. It's not something most companies can afford to ignore, because the way employees feel can have a big impact on where the company goes in the future. Good & Valuble article .
